Terms of Service for Hardware Annex

Last Updated: December 28, 2025

1. Scope of Service

Hardware Annex provides an automated e-commerce platform and specialized project sourcing for high-end architectural hardware. By using our site, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotes and Project Sourcing

  • Quote Validity: All “Fast Quotes” are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance, unless otherwise stated, due to the volatility of raw material costs in high-end hardware manufacturing.

  • Accuracy: While we strive for 100% accuracy in project sourcing, the purchaser is responsible for verifying that all specifications (backsets, finishes, and handing) meet local building codes and architectural requirements.

3. Orders and Payments

  • Automation: As an automated system, orders are processed immediately upon checkout to ensure the fastest possible lead times.

  • Payment Terms: Payment is due in full at the time of order unless professional credit terms have been pre-approved for your firm.

4. Lead Times and Shipping

  • Estimates: Shipping dates are estimates provided by our manufacturing partners. Hardware Annex is not liable for project delays caused by freight carriers or manufacturing backlogs.

  • Inspection: Upon delivery, all hardware must be inspected within 48 hours. Claims for damage or missing components must be filed within this window to ensure immediate replacement.

5. Returns and Restocking

  • High-End Goods: Because many of our architectural products are finished-to-order, a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply to returns that are not a result of a manufacturer defect.

  • Custom Orders: Specially commissioned or custom-finished hardware is non-returnable.

6. Limitation of Liability

Hardware Annex’s liability is limited strictly to the replacement of the product or a refund of the purchase price. We are not liable for labor costs, “loss of use” fees, or liquidated damages resulting from installation delays.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within that jurisdiction.
